Using the site as a reference source

The section called What is biotechnology? contains information about the nature of biotechnology now and in the past. It also provides information about the structure and function of DNA and genes and the nature of a number of modern gene technology tools.

The sections called Human uses, Environment and Food and agriculture contain information about examples of the application of gene technology in these areas. All of these sections could be used as a resource to answer questions about biotechnology set by the teacher. The students could work through the sections in the order indicated in the above description.
